Bayreuth: the police checked the car and noticed several crimes – Bavaria

The 33-year-old driver is drunk, and there is an arrest warrant for his 25-year-old passenger. But that’s not all that the officials noticed during the inspection in Bayreuth.

When a car was checked in Bayreuth, it turned out that the driver was drunk, that there was an arrest warrant for the passenger and that another passenger had doping substances in his luggage. As the police announced on Saturday, the five people were driving on Saturday night on the Autobahn 9 in Upper Franconia when they were checked by two traffic police patrols.

As soon as the doors were opened, the officers smelled the alcohol. There were also several beer and liquor bottles lying around the car. The 33-year-old driver had 1.14 per mille breath alcohol and had a blood sample taken. He was also given a driving ban and drunk driving charges. The 25-year-old passenger, against whom there was an arrest warrant, was arrested on the spot and then taken to the Bayreuth prison.

In addition, when searching the vehicle, the officers found several ampoules of anabolic steroids such as testosterone in the luggage of a 37-year-old occupant. Because of the mass of doping substances, the man was charged with violating the anti-doping law. The traffic police in Bayreuth confiscated the anabolic steroids.
