Three players from a youth team have filed a complaint against their coach in the Tirschenreuth district. According to the young people between the ages of 15 and 18, they had been invited individually by their trainer to an overnight stay, as the police announced on Wednesday. While sleeping, the 24-year-old then touched the players immorally.
The meetings had taken place independently of each other and were sometimes several months ago. The police are now investigating suspected sexual assault. “We are of course in contact with the sports club, which is also taking action on our advice,” said a police spokesman. The recent training session would have taken place without the youth team coach. The police did not provide any precise information on the sport, but it was “widespread”.
