Robert Lewandowski’s future remains unclear. Apparently he even wants to forego salary for a move to Barcelona.

Robert Lewandowski is said to be ready to give up his salary for a move from FC Bayern Munich to FC Barcelona. This is reported by the Spanish sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo based in Barcelona.

Accordingly, Lewandowski’s advisor Pini Zahavi is said to have informed the Catalans that the FCB striker could also live with a lower salary than is currently the case with Bayern.

Lewandowski avoids Bayern commitment

The 33-year-old is said to collect an annual salary of around 20 million euros there. Bayern recently denied that they would be willing to give up Lewandowski next summer. Instead, it will probably depend on him changing in 2023 without a fee.

The striker himself avoided last matchday when Bayern bagged the championship against Borussia Dortmund any commitment to the club. The people of Munich should even do it work on a successor solution.
