Bavaria’s teachers learn about media from journalists and influencers – Bavaria

Instead of teaching their students something about media, Bavarian teachers can experience what social networks could learn from the diversity in schools on the Day of Prayer and Prayer. Because while Bavaria’s students are free on November 16, their teachers have to work or continue their education. A training offer is the teachers’ media day of the Bavarian newspapers, in which 14 publishing houses, the Bavarian Publishers’ Association, the State Center for Political Education and the Mediaschool Bayern take part.

This year, the teacher media day will be running digitally as a live stream from Munich. One speaker is Dirk von Gehlen, journalist and director of the think tank at the SZ Institute, who will speak about diversity in social networks and schools. Bob Blume, teacher, textbook author and educational influencer, will shed light on participation instead of pure media consumption and will address media education in the culture of digitality. Afterwards, the teachers can and should discuss with both of them.
