We’re looking for Bavaria’s best again! The Blattmacher, the big school newspaper competition South German newspaper, the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture and the Nemetschek Foundation, will enter a new round in 2024. All student newspapers from primary schools, middle schools, special schools, secondary schools, high schools and vocational schools in Bavaria can take part. Prizes will also be awarded for the best online school newspapers.
The three best editorial teams in each category receive prize money. There is also a special reward program waiting for the first places.
Six printed copies of an issue that was published between June 17, 2023 and June 7, 2024 must be submitted. For purely online school newspapers, simply sending the registration form is sufficient. The deadline for entries is June 7th, 2024. The award ceremony is expected to take place on July 19th, 2024 in Munich.
