Anyone who comes from Munich is not immediately popular at Tegernsee – during the corona pandemic, drivers from the state capital were allegedly even pelted with eggs when they were looking for local recreation. Now the people of Tegernsee should love their compatriots from Munich again, at least the Augustiner brewery has made it their goal. She extensively renovated the traditional Mesner-Gütl on Seestraße in Rottach-Egern and leased it to the Munich restaurateur Julia Grosse and her father Stefan. The two already run the restaurant and hotel Blauer Bock on Munich’s Viktualienmarkt. In November, the Mesner-Gütl will then reopen as a classic Bavarian inn.
