Bavaria: Shop owner shoots a gun in the direction of customers near Nuremberg – Bavaria

A very drunk shop owner from Schwaig near Nuremberg shot two of his customers with a blank gun. Initially, a 44-year-old wanted to pick up packages that had been left in the store, the police said on Tuesday. When he knocked on the closed door, the 37-year-old operator came and fired the gun in the man’s direction. He then went back inside.

When another customer came along, the 37-year-old showed up again with the gun, it was said. He shot again in the direction of the men. Numerous police forces and a support squad then surrounded the store on Monday. The suspected perpetrator was arrested. A breath alcohol test showed his blood alcohol level was 3.4 per mille.

In the store, the officers found a blank pistol and an air rifle, a police spokeswoman said. Blood was taken from the 37-year-old. He is now awaiting trial for threats and violating the weapons law. The reason for the crime was initially unclear. The suspect was taken to a specialist clinic because of his mental condition.
