Bavaria: Scholarship for Iranian poet – Munich

The Iranian poet, translator and literary critic Ali Abdollahi will receive the Chamisso Publication Grant 2021. It is endowed with 10,000 euros and is awarded by the Friedrich Baur Foundation. The purpose of the scholarship is the publication of a literary work in German by an author from a non-German culture and language.

The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 24th, 5 p.m., in Burgkunstadt in Upper Franconia (free entry). Michael Krüger, the mentor of the award winner appointed by the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts, introduces Abdollahi in a reading and discussion. Roman Bunka provides the musical accompaniment.
