Bavaria promotes digital care exchange – Bavaria

Bavaria promotes the development of a digital care exchange. Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (CSU) presented Recare Germany with a check for almost 293,000 euros on Wednesday. According to him, the exchange should go into operation at the beginning of 2024. “The search for free, suitable and locally conveniently located care places or nursing support services is usually difficult and time-consuming for those in need of care, their relatives and carers,” said the minister. “A digital platform is the modern answer here.”

The provider of a required service should be able to be contacted directly from the search result. Easy handling for everyone involved is decisive for the acceptance and use of such a platform, said Holetschek. Providers of nursing services could also save time for administration and documentation by eliminating telephone inquiries and simplifying data transfer. This would relieve management staff and nursing staff.
