A man shot several times at a balcony in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz with an air rifle – even when the police were there. It was initially unclear why the 63-year-old had shot at his neighbors’ privacy screen, a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday. The residents sat with their child on the balcony during the act on Saturday and heard the noise. Nobody got hurt.
The alarmed officials also heard a shot on the spot and saw the 63-year-old on his balcony – with a gun in his hand. According to the information, he shot in their direction. The man is now facing charges of attempted dangerous bodily harm and offenses under the Weapons Act.
