A hiker from Gräfelfing near Munich had a fatal accident in the Bavarian part of the Karwendel on Friday afternoon. As the police headquarters in Oberbayern Süd announced, he stumbled on a simple hiking trail when descending from the head of the gallows in the Isarwinkel. The mountain path is located in the southernmost part of the municipality of Lenggries, near the Austrian border.
