The Federal Nature Conservation Union (BN) and the environmental organization Greenpeace fear deterioration of Bavaria’s forests because Economics Minister Hubert Aiwanger (FW) is now responsible for hunting. That is why they have urged the state government and in particular Deputy Prime Minister Aiwanger to work towards preserving the forests and converting them into stable and species-rich mixed forests that can withstand the climate crisis.
