Comedian Bastian Bielendorfer takes a stand against the AfD in his program. One viewer didn’t like that. Bielendorfer paid her back the entrance fee and found clear words.
Comedian Bastian Bielendorfer has become known for jokes about his life as a teacher’s child, but the 38-year-old can also be political. He takes a clear position against the right – even if not everyone likes it. In a video that he published on his social media channels, Bielendorfer reported on an incident after one of his performances.
In Duisburg, Bielendorfer had recorded his comedy program for RTL, with 1,200 viewers. It was also about the AfD – and apparently at least one viewer had a problem with that. She reported to the comedian and complained, as Bielendorfer reports in his video: “I would have said something about fascism in the Bundestag and about the AfD.”

Bielendorfer responded by addressing the woman directly: “I looked at your profile, such a wonderful mixture of right-wing bullshit, conspiracy theories and just hate for everyone who is weak, poor or not like you.” And he made the dissatisfied viewer an unusual offer: Bielendorfer wanted to transfer the money back to the woman for the ticket.
The comedian’s clear statement: “I don’t want money from people like you. I don’t want to earn a cent with a ticket you bought.” As Bielendorfer said, the woman actually sent him her account details and got her money back. At the same time, he announced that he would transfer ten times the amount to the refugee aid of the German Red Cross – to annoy the dissatisfied viewer, whose profile, according to Bielendorfer, is “eaten up” by xenophobia.
Otherwise, Bielendorfer was very satisfied with the recording of his show, he received a lot of positive feedback. However, the “Let’s Dance” star had a clear message to the dissatisfied viewer in his “small message to all fascists and AFD voters who got lost in my program”: “Please never come to one of my shows again.”
