Over Easter, the hotels were again about 85 percent occupied, as the hotel association FEHM announced on the Spanish holiday island. FEHM President María Frontera is also expecting a good summer season. People would like to travel again, she said. But the situation is not yet the same as it was in 2019. According to FEHM, long-term reservations are increasing again this year, but there are still more last-minute tourists than before the pandemic. There are almost no restrictions due to Corona in Spain. The hotels have also scaled down accordingly. The prices for hotels in Mallorca are stable for the time being despite the higher inflation, but this year the guests would prefer more expensive hotels and higher quality categories, which would lead to “better” prices for the operators.
