From the players’ perspective, 2023 was a colorful package of top games that rarely occurs. One instant classic after the next has been released this year and you sometimes had to ask yourself where to find all the time to eat up all the top titles. Now SteamDB has one own list of the top games 2023 on Steam via X published.
The top Steam games on Steam in 2023 were ranked according to the SteamDB algorithm selected, the the best ratings have. The biggest surprise might be that Baldur’s Gate 3 can only be found at number 9 on this list of the top Steam games of 2023. At number 1 on the list is the co-op horror game Lethal Company, which went into early access at the end of October. After that, the free2play pixel art roguelike HoloCure – Save the Fans is in second place and the weird hyperspeed platformer Pizza Tower is in third place. Shortly after the release of the Top Steam list via X By the way, if there was any movement in the list again, at the time of writing the article, HoloCure had briefly jumped to number 1 among the best-rated Steam games (97.03 percent rating).
Meanwhile, there were no further movements on the following pitches. In fourth place is the remake of the survival action horror title Resident Evil 4, which skillfully put fear into the hearts of many Steam users (96.43 percent rating). After that come “small” titles like VPet, Cats Hidden in Paris and Cats Hidden in Jingle Jam (“sweet kittens”) in places 5 to 7. Then in 8th place comes the well-known indie title Dave The Diver with at least 95, 98 percent rating. While Baldur’s Gate 3 comes in at number 9 with its 95.85 percent rating, as already mentioned, Papa’s Freezeria Deluxe closes the top list at number 10.
