Baldham: Man is captured by the S-Bahn at the station – Ebersberg

Serious injuries were sustained by a man who got onto the track at the Baldham S-Bahn station shortly before 12 noon on Thursday and was hit by a S-Bahn. A large number of police and rescue workers were in action.

According to a spokeswoman for the Upper Bavaria North Police Headquarters, the permanent detective service has started the investigation on site. How the accident came about was initially not known. Rail traffic between Haar and Zorneding first had to be stopped.

The regional train was able to resume operations at around 12.30 p.m., the S-Bahn at 1.35 p.m. According to a S-Bahn spokesman, 30 large-capacity taxis were now in use as rail replacement services.
