While lettuce, iceberg lettuce, radishes, carrots, beetroot, dill, cress and parsley can still be sown throughout the month, fennel or peas should only be sown at the beginning of July.
The same applies to kohlrabi.
You can sow spinach, spring onions and Chinese cabbage without any problems, but not too early, rather from mid-July.
The seeds of various flowers such as pansies, lupins or candytufts can also be planted in July.
However, the flower seeds need enough water to grow – the soil should always be kept moist, because the seeds do not tolerate long dry periods.
