The ladies of the “David Nails” manicure studio look up in irritation from their filing work when a gentleman with a white beard asks for golden nail polish. “No, no, no!”, the boss brushes him off, the color is out of stock. Shrugging his shoulders, Friedrich Liechtenstein steps out onto the Baden-Baden shopping mile, it’s the third shop today where he’s been rebuffed in this regard. “Maybe it’s time to come up with another trademark,” he says, after all, every second hetero guy paints his fingernails in bright colors these days. “But a little gender fluid suits me, doesn’t it?”
