Baby with 0.24 per mille of alcohol in the blood – Erding

A mother, who is now 29, has been sentenced to one year and six months’ imprisonment for attempted bodily harm to her son, who is just under one year old, and for violating her duty of care or upbringing. According to the conviction of the jury under magistrate Michael Lefkaditis, she gave her child 40 percent whiskey in at least one case at the beginning of December 2019 in order to calm him down. When the child was admitted to the hospital, according to an expert opinion, 0.24 per mille of alcohol was in their blood. As an accomplice, her 33-year-old friend was sentenced to the same prison term. Both sentences were suspended for three years. The child now lives with his father and is now “a little, chaotic angel”.
