The French insurer Axa announced on Tuesday that it would increase the duration of “fully paid joint parental leave” from 4 to 8 weeks as part of a program intended for all its employees around the world and called “We care”.

“In addition to the 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave for primary parents, the We Care program also provides for the doubling of the duration of fully paid joint parental leave, from 4 to 8 weeks,” said a press release.
