Brush your teeth twice a day and change your brush every three months – there is hardly any advice on personal hygiene that is so well known and so widely shared. Rightly so. Oral cavities are a paradise for bacteria, and those who scrub thoroughly in the morning and evening, not too hard of course, are less likely to be tormented by caries and periodontitis.
