The title of the sequel has been revealed

The sequel to “Avatar” will be released later this year. Now it’s clear what the name of James Cameron’s strip will be.
The most successful film in cinema history, “Avatar” by James Cameron (67), will have a sequel on December 14 of this year. Now it is also clear what the name of the new blockbuster will be. The first teaser trailer for the film, which will be called “Avatar: The Way of Water”, was shown at the CinemaCon in Las Vegas. This is reported by the US industry website “Deadline”.
Until the trailer can also be seen outside of the cinema fair, the fans will have to wait until next week. The “Avatar 2” trailer is presented exclusively before the Marvel strip “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, which will exceptionally start on a Wednesday (May 4th) in this country.
The title matches the previous information
“The Way of the Water” once again hints at what the first of four planned “Avatar” sequels could be about. The first photos were already revealed at the beginning of the year. One picture shows the native inhabitants of the planet Pandora, the Na’vi, in a tranquil fishing village. In addition, several behind-the-scenes recordings were released, in which scenes are created on or in the water. So will Avatar 2 largely explore the sea of Pandora? In 1989 he proved that Cameron has a soft spot for underwater worlds with his science fiction film “The Abyss”.
Sam Worthington (45), Zoe Saldana (43) and Sigourney Weaver (72) will play again in the second part of “Avatar”. Kate Winslet (46) and Michelle Yeoh (59) are also there. Three more sequels will follow in the coming years. If everything goes according to plan, “Avatar 5” will be the conclusion of the series in 2028.
