Pumpkins are an excellent ingredient for a delicious fall dish.

With this quick recipe you can make the perfect pumpkin bread.

Everything you need for this:

400g pumpkin
150 ml milk
500g flour
1.5 tsp salt
1 tsp dry yeast
1 egg

Remove the pumpkin flesh and then cook it in salted water for eight minutes.

Then drain the meat and mash it into a fine mass.

Then mix the puree with the lukewarm milk, flour, salt and dry yeast.

Cover the smooth dough and let it rise for at least an hour.

In the meantime, line a baking tray with baking paper.

After the rising time, take out the dough and knead it thoroughly.

Form the mixture into a loaf and place it on the baking sheet.

The dough should then rise again, covered, on the tray for 45 minutes.

Whisk the egg and spread it on the cross-cut bread.

Bake the bread in the oven at 175 degrees for 40 minutes.
