The final number of injuries and deaths was still not known this Friday after the collapse of a residential building near Miami, in the United States. At a press conference, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava nevertheless confirmed “an increase in the death toll which is now four” and declared that “the number of people of whom we have no news rose to 159 ”.
“We will continue with the search and rescue operations because we still have hope of finding people alive,” said Daniella Levine Cava. Rescuers “are extremely motivated by the prospect of finding people. We have to force them to make their rotations, that shows how much their motivation is ”, she added.
