Australian Open live in the ticker: Local hero Ash Barty fights against Madison Keys for a place in the final

On the eleventh day of competition, the final tickets will be awarded in the women’s singles and doubles competitions.

An Australian trio is fighting for a place in the final: In the day session, Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis meet Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos.

In singles, local hero Ashleigh Barty will fight Madison Keys in the night session starting at 9:30 a.m. for her place in the final.

In the second match of the night session, the American Danielle Collins meets Iga Swiatek, the Polish French Open winner of 2020.

Keys doesn’t have any difficulties either, wins their game 1:2 in a quick run. But as long as she doesn’t get the rhythm in Barty’s service games, that won’t help the American in set one. And the Australian is currently making a lot of free points through the service. With a great longline, she increases to 3:1.

And if you consider that she didn’t serve more than 60 times in a row up to and including the middle of the Australian Open, a break from Barty is worth a lot. In any case, the Australian has no trouble in her first service and increases to 2-0.
