A prisoner was arrested in Augsburg two days after escaping during a doctor’s appointment. Emergency services discovered the 47-year-old in an apartment on Wednesday, the Schwaben Nord police headquarters said.
The man was in hospital for treatment on Monday. According to the information, he was able to escape despite the handcuffs he was wearing. The police then launched a public search. According to police, he was in prison for theft and fraud.
