Throwing cans and tinkering jungle animals, miniature golf soccer and frisbee, sniffing the circus air and a theater on stilts: on Monday afternoon, Mariahilfplatz becomes an adventure landscape for children with a big game from 2 to 6 p.m. The occasion is World Children’s Day on September 20th. The city of Munich always uses this date and World Game Day on May 29 as an opportunity to organize two children’s festivals in one of the districts. In May, the event had been evaporated to a game walk because of the pandemic. This time the offer is more extensive: around 30 partners from the network of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Spielandschaft Stadt are represented with stands and campaigns, including a number of clubs and organizations.
