The right-wing extremist Attila Hildmann knew in 2021 that there was an arrest warrant against him, even before the responsible public prosecutors had this information. Now it’s clear how that could have happened.
According to the public prosecutor’s office, the right-wing extremist conspiracy teller Attila Hildmann has received internal information about investigations against him from two sisters employed in the Berlin judiciary. The authority accuses them of violating official secrets, said a spokesman.
Among other things, the ex-employees are said to have informed the former author of vegan cookbooks in February 2021 about an arrest warrant against him. At the time when Hildmann first publicly mocked the arrest warrant, the decision issued by the Berlin-Tiergarten district court was still so fresh that not even the responsible public prosecutors knew about it.
The women are now to be sentenced to fines of 2,700 and 3,500 euros by penal order – i.e. without a hearing. The case became public in November 2021. At the time, however, the Attorney General’s Office only named a 33-year-old IT employee as the suspect. In the meantime, however, the investigators are assuming that their sister also provided Hildmann with internals.
According to the public prosecutor’s office, both women were released from work after the allegations became known and are now no longer active for the law enforcement authorities. The former IT employee of the Attorney General is said to have repeatedly sent Hildmann information via a messenger service.
According to investigators, on November 2, 2020, she is said to have used her home office laptop to inquire in the registry system what procedures there were against Hildmann. She is said to have then sent him the list – together with the offer to keep him up to date, with information on the extent of the file at the time and the name of the responsible public prosecutor. On February 18 or 19, 2021, she is said to have informed him about the arrest warrant. A fine of a total of 180 daily rates of 15 euros each was requested for thisaccording to a spokesman for the public prosecutor’s office.

The woman’s sister was in charge of copying files at the public prosecutor’s office. The 35-year-old is said to have used this on February 23, 2021 to take photos of the arrest warrant that was in Hildmann’s files. A fine has also been requested for the woman – 70 daily rates of 50 euros each.
The Berlin public prosecutor’s office has long been investigating Hildmann, who describes himself as “ultra-right” and a conspiracy preacher, for incitement to hatred, suspected public incitement to commit crimes and resistance to law enforcement officials. Since the first months of the corona pandemic, he had attracted attention on the Telegram messenger service with his increasingly blatant hatred of Jews. He has been on the run since the end of December 2020 and is hiding in Turkey.
At first it was said that the arrest warrant against Hildmann could not be enforced because he also had Turkish citizenship. In the meantime, however, it is clear that he only has German citizenship and could be extradited to Germany. For this, however, an extradition request would have to be made by the federal government to Turkey.
