The residents of the northern district of Ebersberg, especially the communities of Markt Schwaben, Anzing, Forstinning and Poing, should not be surprised at the weekend of September 24th and 25th, because the Bavarian Red Cross is organizing a large-scale exercise in the Ebersberg district association just in time for the beginning of autumn of civil protection.
Several units will train in the said area for 24 hours and demonstrate their skills in many different scenarios and missions. Cooperation with other aid organizations such as the fire brigade and the Technical Relief Agency is also practiced.
On the days mentioned, there will be more emergency vehicles on the road in the communities. According to the organizers, the exercises will be easily recognizable as such, among other things by observers wearing safety vests. In contrast to real accidents, interested parties are welcome to watch.
