A shooting broke out at a school in Izhevsk, central Russia, and left at least 6 people dead and 20 injured, the Russian Interior Ministry said. Children are among the victims, said the governor of the region, who added that the suspect had committed suicide.
“The police have found the body of the man who opened fire. According to our information, he committed suicide,” the ministry said, citing at least “six dead and 20 injured.” Earlier, the regional governor had indicated that children were “among the victims” and that a security guard had also been killed.
