Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s cabinet reshuffle came as observers reported ARD correspondent Annette Dittert completely surprising. She speaks of a “desperate move” by Sunak to “repopulate the cabinet with adults”.
Regarding David Cameron’s position as foreign minister, Dittert says that it is not only unusual to bring a former prime minister into the cabinet. It is also to be expected that the personnel will cause unrest among the Tories – probably especially on the right-wing fringe of the party. Braverman’s removal was expected
