Wenzel Cerveny from the “Chillout Club” in Aschheim is already selling cannabis plants that, when properly cared for, produce flowers with the intoxicating active ingredient THC. This is not officially allowed – but according to him it is not forbidden either.
The doors at the side entrance of the former Rewe supermarket on Saturnstrasse in Aschheim are open this Tuesday afternoon. The passage is blocked by two waist-high shelves, but the view of the small storage room behind is clear. Tiny green plants are neatly lined up on a counter. An employee carries in a package from a van from outside, and it also contains the plants, which are only a few centimeters high. If you get closer, a characteristic smell develops, slightly but clearly noticeable.
