The FC Porto coach criticized his Arsenal counterpart for insulting his family during the round of 16 second leg, won by the Londoners on penalties.
In a press conference after the match, Sergio Conceiçao declared that Mikel Arteta had insulted members of his family during the match and more precisely during the penalty shootout, won by Arsenal (1-0, tab 4-2).
At the end of the match, the technician went to a press conference to answer questions from journalists as usual. But the Portuguese started by returning to the discussion he had with the Arsenal coach on the pitch after the final whistle.
“During the match he (Mikel Arteta) turned to the bench and insulted my family in Spanish. At the end of the match, I called out Arteta because the person he insulted is no longer with us. said the FC Porto coach. Asked about the subject, Arteta did not respond.
