Around thirty insulting and homophobic tags found on the walls of a town

Around thirty insulting and homophobic tags were found on walls on Wednesday in Bessan (Hérault), a town of 5,000 inhabitants, near Béziers. Some of these inscriptions directly target the gendarmes and the mayor of the village, and vice-president of the Hérault Méditerranée agglomeration, Stéphane Pépin-Bonet (various right).

“If these imbeciles think that this will prevent the mayor and the gendarmerie from acting, they are wrong,” reacted the elected official, posting photos of these tags, on his account. Our actions hinder their schemes and trafficking. Our determination is total. Will laugh…”

For his part, also on, the prefect of Hérault, François-Xavier Lauch, “strongly condemned these serious acts” on Wednesday evening. “I give my full support to Mayor Stéphane Pépin-Bonet. The gendarmes are fully mobilized to find the authors of these tags,” he wrote. An investigation was opened in Bessan.
