Arnold Schwarzenegger donated a total of $ 250,000 to buy so-called tiny houses. Homeless veterans will live there.

The “Terminator” shows its generous side at Christmas time: Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger (74) donated 25 so-called Tiny Houses, in which homeless veterans can now find a new home. On Christmas Eve, he shared impressions of the inauguration of his early Christmas gifts via social media.

“Premature Christmas”

“Today I celebrated an early Christmas,” the 74-year-old begins his illustrated post on Instagram and Twitter uploaded. The recordings show him greeting the happy veterans and the tiny houses themselves.

It was “fantastic” to “spend time with our heroes and welcome them to their new homes”. Schwarzenegger also thanked supporters with whom he had worked in the course of the campaign – a non-profit organization and a ministry that deals with veterans’ affairs. “We’ve proven that if we all work together, we can solve any problem,” concludes the action star.

Arnold Schwarzenegger calls for giving

According to local television station FOX 11 Los Angeles Schwarzenegger flipped a total of almost 250,000 US dollars for the 25 mini-houses. In a follow-up post on Twitter he stressed that Christmas is about giving something. “You all have the strength to do something for someone else over the holidays. It doesn’t have to be anything big,” he wrote on the short message service. It is enough “to spend just a few minutes of your time helping someone else”.
