Argenteuil: a man shot dead following nuisance linked to a rodeo, a suspect on the run

He is actively sought by the police. An individual suspected of having killed a man in the context of a dispute linked to noise in Argenteuil (Val-d’Oise) is on the run, Le Parisien learned from police sources, confirming information from RTL.

Around 1 a.m., on the night of Monday to Tuesday, the suspect, exasperated by the noise caused by an urban car rodeo outside his home, opened fire in the direction of a vehicle. The driver, aged 33, was injured once and died on the spot despite the arrival of emergency services.

The Raid, the elite unit of the national police, intervened on site at 3:40 a.m. and deployed a large security perimeter. During the night, an assault column invaded the suspect’s home. But when the police entered the interior, the suspect had fled. He is still actively sought this Tuesday morning by investigators from the interdepartmental judicial police service (SIPJ 95) which was tasked by the prosecution with carrying out the investigations.
