Major service disruption apparently fixed

A major disruption in Apple services appears to have been resolved.

Users had occasional issues with services like Apple Music and Apple TV+. The App Store and iTunes Store were also affected.

On March 21, Apple struggled with the failure of numerous in-house services. Among other things, the streaming offers Apple Music and Apple TV + as well as the App Store, the iTunes Store, Apple Pay and several iCloud services were affected.

“Possibly a problem”

According to the company, the problems were fixed after a few hours. On its “System Status” page, Apple led Among other things, there has been a failure of Apple TV+ since around 5:30 p.m. Users “may have a problem”. This is currently being investigated, it was said in the meantime. Apple Music said the service “may be slow or unavailable.”

In the meantime, all services are again displayed with a green dot on the page. Without exception, the previously affected services are marked as “Resolved failure”. So far it is not known what could have led to the problems. On sites such as “alle disturbances.de”, the number of fault reports from consumers also fell again significantly. Numerous reports were received between around 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in particular.
