Apple also does not seem to be preparing a successor for the iMac Pro after yesterday’s keynote announcement that the Mac Pro was the last product that still had to be converted to Apple Silicon.

In addition to the Mac Pro, there is another Intel product in the range: the Mac mini. This computer can still be ordered with the ancient Core i5-8500B and Core i7-8700B (Coffee Lake). The two advantages of this variant are the optional RAM of up to 32 GB or 64 GB, while the M1 model is limited to 16 GB, and the four instead of two Thunderbolt 3 ports.
