The public prosecutor’s office has appealed against the two-year prison sentence for the Youtuber “Dragon Lord”. A higher prison sentence is necessary and appropriate in the case, said a spokesman for the prosecution on Monday in Nuremberg. The 32-year-old was sentenced to two years in prison on Thursday last week for dangerous bodily harm and other crimes. The video blogger from Middle Franconia hit a man on the forehead with a flashlight and injured him. He threw a brick at another. He had also insulted police officers.
It was the second time that the Youtuber had to answer for bodily harm before the district court in Neustadt an der Aisch. In September 2019, he sentenced him to a suspended sentence of seven months for a pepper spray attack. While still on probation, he committed new offenses. For security reasons, the second trial had been moved to the criminal justice center in Nuremberg.
