Anton Hofreiter is a true man and can defend himself against a whole gang of robbers. He had once shown this quite impressively as a biology student in the Peruvian jungle, when five bandits tried to rob him and were particularly interested in his camera. Instead of giving in, as would be expected in such a situation, he resolutely pulled out his sharp-edged chisel, fixed the leader’s eyes even more sharply and made it clear to him: Even if you kill me, I’ll take you with me. So he tells it himself. The result: the robbers let go of him.
