After apparently indiscriminate beating attacks on two passers-by in Ansbach, the alleged perpetrator trio is in custody. The three men, aged between 18 and 34, are suspected of attempted murder, the police said on Tuesday. They are said to have hit and kicked two men in downtown Ansbach while heavily intoxicated on Sunday night, causing serious injuries. When police officers later arrested the trio, the three men are said to have slightly injured two officers.
On Tuesday, police were looking for witnesses who could provide information about what happened before the attacks. The three suspects may have consumed alcohol in several bars that night. There could have been arguments with other people before the attacks. The Ansbach murder squad’s investigations into the case continued.
