Another friendly defeat for OM against Middlesbrough
Heavily beaten by Norwich last weekend (3-0), Olympique de Marseille was not really reassured this Friday on the field of Middlesbrough (2-0) for its third preparation match. Igor Tudor’s men did not really know how to be dangerous during the first 45 minutes before finally sinking in the second half, with in particular the entries of Ćaleta-Car, Bakambu and Balerdi. The latter is even directly guilty on the opener, letting Jones pass behind his back (1-0, 53e).
The second goal for Boro! A nice collective movement from the English ends with a nice cross shot from Tavernier. It is very badly embarked for the men of Tudor. pic.twitter.com/OXVxhL6aRO

Things will not work out, since the entire Marseille defense is at fault on the second goal of the English second division club, scored by Tavernier after a nice collective movement from Middlesbrough (2-0, 72e). Note all the same the first steps of Chancel Mbemba, Luis Suárez and Jonathan Clauss in the Marseille tunic.
Igor are you waking up?
