The first baby is on the way

Musician Annemarie Eilfeld and her boyfriend Tim Sandt are expecting their first child together. But the road to pregnancy was not easy.
Pop singer Annemarie Eilfeld (32) and her boyfriend Tim Sandt (31) are expecting offspring. “During a routine check-up, we noticed on the ultrasound that I was in the sixth week. I cried, laughed and shrieked with happiness,” she tells the “Bild” newspaper. “I then gave Tim a book for expectant dads and put the ultrasound image in it,” Eilfeld continues. “He was super happy too!”
Her chances of conceiving naturally were “25 percent”
But that’s not all, the native of Saxony-Anhalt, who became known through the casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” in 2009, makes no secret of the fact that the path to baby happiness was not easy. “My chances of getting pregnant naturally were 25 percent, according to my gynecologists. That took the wind out of our sails and frustrated me personally,” she told the tabloid.
In a Q&A she was in their Instagram stories now even clearer. When asked how she noticed that she had the hormone disorder PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), Eilfeld wrote: “I had an irregular cycle, bad skin and, despite exercise and intermittent fasting, I could no longer maintain my weight,” said the Artist. “Ultrasonic scans and blood tests would have shown it ‘clearly’.
In the same question and answer block she also revealshow she is doing at the moment. “It’s all good, I go to the gym and sauna diligently, write/compose new songs (for myself and others) and do everything that’s good for me,” says Eilfeld.
When asked if she was really pregnant the expectant mother then posted a photo of her clearly recognizable baby bump. She jokes: “Either that, or I’ve been eating too much in the last 24 weeks”. So she should already be in the sixth month…
