Another personality targeted by a home-jacking… During the night from Saturday to Sunday, Anne-Sophie Lapix was the victim of an attempted burglary at her home, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. She was inside with her family. Five suspects were arrested, reveals AFP, citing a police source.
The events took place around 3 a.m. The burglars fled after being disturbed by one of the sons of the presenter of France 2’s 8 p.m. third world communications group, arrested five people, placed in police custody.
Handguns, balaclavas and adhesive roll
Police discovered a handgun, balaclavas and a roll of tape in a vehicle used by the suspects.
This type of break-in is not new but its increase, particularly in western Paris, Hauts-de-Seine and Yvelines, calls into question the investigation services.
From January to November 2023, the police headquarters recorded a total of 288 home-jackings in Paris and its immediate suburbs, or 49 fewer than over the same period in 2022. But celebrities seem to be increasingly targeted. The singer Vitaa, the presenter Bruno Guillon and even PSG players have been victims in recent months.
