With “Perfectly Missed” a new series awaits all Prime Video users. It is a special format for Anke Engelke and Bastian Pastewka.

Have it together in front of the camera Anke Engelke (58) and Bastian Pastewka (51) have shone several times – just think of their time together on “Die Wochenshow” or their shrill duo appearances in the Amazon format “LOL: Last One Laughing”. It is also the streaming service Prime Video that will soon bring the world “the first series by and with Anke Engelke and Bastian Pastewka,” as it says in a corresponding press release. This is called “Perfekt Misst” and will consist of eight episodes.

The content of the new series says: “Maria (Engelke) and Ralf (Pastewka) are both stuck in their lives. Together, however, they would be the absolute dream team – if only they would finally meet.” Sabine Boss and Nicolas Berse-Gilles will direct, and the series, which is scheduled to start in summer 2024, was written by Sebastian Colley and Claudius Pläging. Engelke and Pastewka are among the six executive producers of “Perfekt Vermisst”.

On his official Instagram account Pastewka didn’t miss the opportunity to express his joy about the joint format with his comedy partner. He wrote, among other things, about three photos from the series: “Hurray! In the summer of 2024 […] the first series by and with Anke and me.” Comedian Tommi Schmitt (35) and the moderators Pierre M. Krause (47) and Marlene Lufen (53) are also happy with the duo in the comment section. The latter cheers: “Life has a sense again!”

Not the only highlight

“Perfectly missed” is not the only highlight announced by Prime Video during its tenth anniversary. Fans can, among other things, look forward to another special from the “LOL” cosmos: “The ‘LOL: Last One Laughing Halloween Special’ starts in October. It’s okay to be frightened – don’t laugh!”, it says. The New Year’s Eve program “Dinner for One”, which has become a cult in this country, is also receiving its own prequel series on Prime Video.
