Emaciated and dehydrated, a small fox was found in Acocks Green near Birmingham. The animal had become entangled in a piece of garbage from which it could no longer free itself.

A young fox in England has been struggling with a piece of rubbish around its neck for weeks and has been rescued by an animal rights group. Photos show the cub with a square piece of brown garbage around its neck, wider than its head. The animal was emaciated and dehydrated, probably because it had not been able to eat and drink properly for three weeks, a spokeswoman for the organization RSPCA told the PA news agency. The situation could have been avoided if someone had simply disposed of their rubbish properly.

The fox was therefore seen by passers-by in Acocks Green near Birmingham. The piece of rubbish was removed, but it was not clear what exactly it was. The animal was taken to a wildlife center for recovery. When it was discovered exactly, was not clear from the information.
