No more gray asphalt: Raised beds, specially made wooden benches and an open bookcase are intended to transform the “Am Kulturkraftwerk” square in front of the Gasteig’s HP 8 into a green island of culture as part of the Flower Power Festival. On Saturday, at the opening, in cooperation with the collective “Die Städtische” under the motto “Kräuterwiese” we were able to garden together. In consultation with the Gasteig, flexible modules can soon be reconfigured as seating, a stage or an activity area, depending on requirements. The aim is to create a space that can be used in many ways and is open to everyone.
