An individual locked up more than 150 poultry in deplorable conditions

It was two animal protection associations, the Brigitte Bardot Foundation and Elry’s Prés, which raised the alarm. Better yet, they went there for an unusual discovery. More than 150 poultry were locked in sheds in a private garden in Uckange, Moselle, reports France Blue Lorraine North.

The chickens, chicks and ducks lived in deplorable conditions, crammed into sheds, trampling in their excrement.

Called, the gendarmerie opened an investigation into mistreatment. The animals were recovered by the associations.
