An ex-collaborator of Lagarde indicted

His name is Rudy Succar. A first suspect, a former collaborator of the boss of the UDI Jean-Christophe Lagarde, has been indicted in the investigation into the false accusations of the Point having targeted the deputies LFI Raquel Garrido and Alexis Corbière. The investigations were entrusted Thursday to an investigating judge.

At the end of his police custody, which began on Tuesday, the man was indicted for fraud in an organized gang, forgery and use of forgery, theft of identity or personal data and concealment of theft and placed under judicial control, said a judicial source.

Henchman

This man is “a sort of henchman” of Jean-Christophe Lagarde, according to a source familiar with the matter. His name is mentioned as one of the three collaborators of the former UDI deputy during his last term of office, on the website of the Citizen Observatory of Parliamentary Activity.

No details were given about the role he is suspected of having played in this case. His lawyer declined to comment.

Jean-Christophe Lagarde, boss of the UDI and ex-MP, beaten by Raquel Garrido in the legislative elections in Seine-Saint-Denis in June, was arrested at his home on Wednesday morning. His police custody was lifted overnight from Wednesday to Thursday without prosecution at this stage. His lawyer declined to comment. A policeman, Anouar Bouhadjela, also called Noam Anouar, was also released without prosecution at this stage late Wednesday afternoon. Seconded to the town hall of Drancy (Seine-Saint-Denis), he had been placed in police custody the day before.

Lagarde’s election as Drancy deputy canceled

In addition, the administrative court of Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis) canceled Thursday the election of Jean-Christophe Lagarde as deputy to the municipal council of Drancy, where he seeks to sit since his defeat in the legislative elections. The two attempts of Jean-Christophe Lagarde, 54, to be elected 11th deputy mayor of the city, his wife Aude Lagarde, have so far ended in failure, due to irregularities.

Following a hearing on Wednesday, the administrative court of Montreuil thus considered that the conditions under which the elections were held were not in conformity. During the municipal council of July 7, the resignation of the deputy to whom Jean-Christophe Lagarde wants to succeed had not been registered by the services of the prefecture of Seine-Saint-Denis. On July 14, during a second council convened urgently before the summer break, the procedure was also not carried out according to the rules.
