Altötting: calm in the state government – Bavaria

Since most Mehring residents voted against it, there has been a lot of talk about the planned wind farm in the state forest near Altötting. However, little was heard from the Free State before the referendum was lost.

There was this scene, press conference, Markus Söder next to Hubert Aiwanger. The “Wind Minister” will now “take special care,” said the Prime Minister about his deputy. He announced that Aiwanger would hold “on-site discussions” in the chemical triangle where this wind farm is to be built, which Söder (CSU) calls a “milestone” for wind energy in Bavaria. Then it was Aiwanger’s turn (Free Voters). He also promised to have “many discussions in the near future” to convince those who “are not yet so convinced.”
